Q: How do I register to vote?
A: Johnson County has an Election Administrator Office in the basement of the County Courthouse, 2 N
Main St, in Cleburne. There you may file an application for voter registration. You may also
register when you visit the Driver's License office to change your drivers license or at either of the
sub-courthouses in Burleson and Alvarado. Many members of the Republican Women's club are
deputized to register voters as well. The Election Administrator's office phone is 817-556-6197.
Q: Are there any meetings of the party ... ?
A. Yes indeed, Republicans gather at 7:30 p.m. at Headquarters, 210 S Main St, Cleburne on the first
Tuesday of each month (subject to change of course) for fellowship and to conduct the business of the
party. This is a meeting where you can meet officeholders, fellow Republicans and others. Each
meeting is given notice on the JCRP Calendar so you will know when we have special events and speakers.
Everyone is welcome and if you come bring a friend.

What is an Area Coordinator?
A: Area Coordinators, one for each commissioner
precinct are appointed by the County Chairman and will:
1. be a voting member of the Executive Committee
2. be responsible for training precinct chairs
3. facilitate communications between the Party Chair and Precinct chairs
4. generate interest among precincts and motivate precinct chairs
5. stay in contact with prior candidates who were unsuccessful
6. be a designated member on each county committee
7. serve on the Chairman's Cabinet
8. assist Party Chair with attendance at area, district of other out of county
meetings
9. assist with coordination of County Convention
10. assist with finding delegates to State and National Conventions
11. recruit precinct chairs
12. act as precinct chair in unfilled precincts
13. any other duties assigned by the County Chair
